Duties and Responsibilities: 

- Procure Passive, Active, and Electro Mechanical components required at the optimum cost.

- Handling procurement of Electronic and Mechanical Components.

- Ensure that comparison statement is prepared based on supplier quotation and other terms and conditions.

- Ensure that the Purchase Orders are raised on the Approved vendors for the right quantity, quality and price.

- Ensure that the Purchase Orders are raised to cover the Planning Requirements.

- Ensure items, for priority jobs, are procured by squeezing the lead time.

- Monitor that the materials are received as per the delivery Schedule.

- Processing and clarification of complaints with suppliers (replacements, improvements, credit notes, action plans)

- Identification / development of supplier for any new requirement.

- Monitor Vendor Evaluation, Vendor Development.

- Data maintenance in the ERP system (articles, supplier data, prices)

- Negotiate with supplier based on the projected qty. and initiate cost reduction techniques.

- Rate contract on regular procurement items with supplier for better pricing

- Finance: Payments follow - Support for reconciliation.

- Co-ordination with production department on daily basis to avoid production stoppage.

- Review periodically on current cost and look for cost reduction.

Minimum Requirements: 

Must be Buyer Graduate with 5 years min of experience in Electronics industry (manufacturing or distributor). 

Experience at authorized distributor or broker mandatory. Good knowledge of ShenZhen electronic market a big plus.

Engineering background appreciated.

Must possess knowledge on Planning, Purchase, Stores and Production, Quality
