China headhunter firm Henderson Executive says, among them, Shenzhen occupies 45 brands, such as Creality, Insta360, Baseus, Ecoflow, etc.; Guangzhou has 9, such as SHEIN, Sheglam, BOOX, SaraMart, etc.; Dongguan has 2, i.e., NARWAL, Laifen; and Zhongshan has 1, Olight.


Although the categories these brands are deeply involved in and the places they belong to are different, most of them have one thing in common: many of the category tip-toppers have developed by relying on industrial belts. For example, Shenzhen's digital accessory brands Smallrig and Ulanzi; Guangzhou's clothing brands SHEIN and Bloomchic; Suzhou's cleaning appliance brands Dreame and Ecovacs; and Xuchang's wig brand Unice.

List 1: SHEIN Leads Clothing Brands


Shenzhen cross-border e-commerce headhunters learned that there are 12 apparel brands on the list, including SHEIN, Halara, Urbanic, Aelfric Eden, Romwe, Bloomchic and so on. Relying on the hinterland of the "world factory" and a perfect supply chain, Guangzhou has prompted the formation of textile and garment, leather and leather goods, beauty and daily necessities and other industrial clusters. The plus-size women's apparel segment is regarded as a blue ocean market by many brands, with the global plus-size women's apparel market projected to be worth $232.38 billion by 2028. The U.S. is the largest market for plus-size women's apparel, with sales far exceeding those of other women's apparel categories, but the category has not been paid enough attention to, and it is not difficult to understand why some sellers choose to plough into this niche, such as the brand Bloomchic, which focuses on plus-size women's apparel and was founded by the son of the founder of Metersbonwe, and obtained financing and successfully went to the sea two years after its establishment.

List 2: Beauty and personal care goes to sea ahead of other categories


There are 7 beauty personal care brands on the list such as Sheglam, Flower Knows, Ulike, Unice, Tymo, Luvme Hair, and Laifen.


In 2023, "Chinese beauty sells well overseas" hit the hot search, and more Guangzhou beauty recruitment agency is focusing on the category, with brands including Sheglam and Flower Knows focusing on color cosmetics.


According to customs data, the total value of China's beauty exports in the first nine months of 2023 increased by nearly 30% year-on-year, although the increase was more significant when looking specifically at countries such as Thailand, South Korea and Japan.


The wig is also one of the extremely hot products in beauty personal care. List 3: New home appliance powerhouse goes berserk


There are 10 appliance brands on the list, namely Roborock, Dreame, Tineco, Ecovacs, Levoit, Narwal and others.


Looking back at the market trend of various home appliances in recent years, the growth rate of cleaning appliances is the most rapid. Relevant data show that the global retail sales of cleaning appliances will reach 30 billion dollars in 2023, with a year-on-year growth of 10%. At present, the main production capacity of global cleaning appliances comes from China, and Suzhou has gathered a lot of cleaning appliance brands, such as the well-known Corvus, Timco and so on.


In order to meet the growing demand for cleaning appliances, many cleaning robot brands have also begun to accelerate the expansion of the construction of the production base. Corvus previously said, to invest 1 billion yuan in Suzhou to build a high-end intelligent life appliances manufacturing center, Chun Guang technology last year proposed to 185 million yuan to invest in the construction of cleaning appliances production base in Vietnam.

With the expanding demand for customized products in the home, education and other fields, the demand for 3D printing has also shown explosive growth. According to third-party data, Shenzhen 3D printing headhunting company also found that the global 3D printing market reached $15.4 billion in 2022, and then the growth rate will remain above 20%, and by 2026 the global 3D printing market size will exceed $37 billion mark.


Four of the five brands on the list are from Shenzhen, China, with Bambu Lab being the newest overseas brand with the most growth potential and upside. By the end of 2023, bambulab.com had 17.66 million total global visits and 5.89 million monthly visits.
